About the Author
David G. Evans serves as a distinguished professor at the Beijing University of Chemical Technology and chairman of the British Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) in Beijing. Professor Evans has been working at the Beijing University of Chemical Technology since 1996. In 2001, he received the Chinese Government Friendship Award. He plays a pioneering role in making layered & intercalated structural materials, a new research field. In January 2006, he obtained China International Science and Technology Cooperation Award, and in 2008, he won the honor of OBE from the British royal family. Presently, he engages in the popularization of chemistry science and carries out chemical experiments in Chinese schools. He owns millions of fans on platforms like TikTok, Kuaishou, and bilibili.
