Shri Baldeo Bhai Sharma, Chairman, National Book Trust inspected the Photo Exhibition on the Development of the New Maritime Silk Road at No. 128-135, Hall No. 6 at 15:00 PM on January 15th. The exhibition is organized by the Information Office of Guangdong Provincial Government, China. The co-organizers are SPM, NCBA and Royal Collins Publishing Group.




According to the introduction of Mr. Bob Song, the new Chairman of Afro-Asian Book Council, it is the first time for this Photo Exhibition to show the development achievements of Guangdong Province in all fields. As the richest province of China, Guangdong Province is the first sister province of Gujarat State in 2014. This cooperation was witnessed by Chinese President, Mr. Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi when President Xi visited India. These 78 beautiful photos are taken by the most famous photographers from America and UK. In the last 7 days, this exhibition has attracted many guests. The visitors are all enjoyed at this photo exhibition. Many kids liked to do selfie with these pictures. Shri Sukumar Das, the MD of NCBA said, “ These fantastic photos make NCBA stands look more elegant. We’d like to say we are at the best place, Hall 6.”


In the history of New Delhi World Book Fair, it’s the first time that one Chinese provincial government has held a photo exhibition with Indian publishers at Hall 6.
