Royal Collins announced that Afro-Asian Book Council (abbreviated as AABC), Indian most important book industry association, had a general election at the second-floor conference room, Eighth Hall of New Delhi World Book Fair, at 11:00 on Jan.12th, 2016. Mr. Bob Song, CEO of Royal Collins, as the representative from China, was successfully elected as the 10th Chairman of AABC. In 26 years of this council, this is the first and the youngest chairman who is a Chinese.

 

Mr. Bob Song has been committed to promoting the various work regarding the cultural exchange between the Sino-Indian publishing industries. He has been consistently integrating the resources of the publication industry of various countries and helping the Chinese publication enterprises to go abroad. As the first Chinese independent publisher who is the first English speaker in the US book fair history and held the first Seminar on Chinese Academic Publishing Market in the London book fair history, he successfully held various cultural and publication exchange activities at Indian New Delhi Book Fair and Beijing International Book Fair in 2015 and facilitated the birth of Sino-Indian book publication alliance.

 

Mr. Bob Song expressed that he would actively promote the communication and cooperation for Sino-Indian and Sino-African Publication industries in his inaugural speech. Meanwhile, he would cooperate actively with worldwide publisher associations to spread AABC’s growth space in the international publication arena.
